What is the Gift Card Program?
The Gift Card Program is an extremely effective fundraising program for the Columbus Catholic Schools system. Gift cards and certificates can be purchased at all of our schools during the week as well as our Catholic parishes after weekend masses.
The 2010-2011 school year gift card sales totaled $2,169,363.68, with profits of $29,639.58 for the Columbus school system.
How does the Gift Card Program work?
The gift cards, certificates and services used in the program are purchased from the participating vendors/businesses at a discounted price and then sold to you, the customer, at face value. The profit the school system receives is based on this discounted price which is determined by each vendor.
The income generated by our school system from the GC Program is used for general operating purposes as well as tuition discounts for participating families.
Why use Gift Cards?
By buying gift cards you are automatically benefiting our schools and children. Each Columbus Catholic Schools family is assigned a $200 gift card fee at the start of each school year. Once a family generates $200 of profit through their purchase of gift cards 50% of their future profits are listed as a credit on their tuition statement. The other 50% profit goes to the school system as contributed income. Several of our Columbus families generate enough income from their gift card purchases to receive more than $500 in tuition credit for the upcoming school year!

Gift cards are available the following times at the Columbus Catholic Schools during the 2011-2012 School Year.
Columbus:
Mondays: 12pm-4pm
Tuesdays: Closed
Wednesdays: 7am-4pm
Thursdays: Closed
Fridays: 7am-3pm
Our Lady of Peace & St. John the Baptist:
Mondays: Closed
Tuesdays thru Thursdays: 7:30am-3pm
Fridays: 7:30am-9am

The Gift Card Order Form and Ordering Options
Below you can open a pdf file of the gift card order sheets.
The short order form is a list of vendors we try to keep in stock in the boxes. However, this form changes frequently and we aren’t always able to keep cards in stock. Only fill out this form if you are purchasing gift cards from the boxes.
The long order form is only used for weekly orders and includes all the vendors from the short order form, as well as many of the other vendors you are able to order. We highly encourage ordering your gift cards each week, whether it is just local cards, special order cards, or a combination of the two, no matter how small the amount. Orders received by 9:00 a.m. Monday will be processed that day and take priority over purchases during the week. We try to fill these orders as soon as possible, sometimes getting them out the same day, but they will be delivered no later than Thursday of that week unless we notify you different. This is the only way to guarantee you will receive the cards you need for the week.
To use the long order form simply fill it out (it is 2 pages) and drop it off at the gift card office–Room 4 in the Columbus Catholic building or at any of our schools’ main offices. You may also email orders to giftcard@columbusdons.org, call in your order at 715-387-1177 ext 219, or order online at www.shopwithscrip.com.
