International Students

Welcome Prospective International Students.

Columbus Catholic High School is a private school located in central Wisconsin.  Columbus provides students in grades 9-12 with a high quality, college preparatory curriculum through honors, advanced placement, and classes for college credit.  International students will not only receive challenging and stimulating classroom experiences but also have plenty of additional extra-curricular activities in which they can become involved in.

Through a number of international organizations, Columbus has hosted international students from all around the world.  In recent years, Columbus has hosted students from Korea, Spain, Germany, Sweden, China, Italy, and Taiwan.  Students and teachers at Columbus realize the benefit that hosting International students brings to our school.  They welcome the opportunity to educate and learn from the international students.  International students become part of the Columbus family when they socialize with their American counterparts. International students can easily make friends in the classroom and outside of school through a wide array of activities such as sports, drama, and various clubs.  95% of Columbus students are involved in sports, music, drama or extra-curricular activities and we encourage International students to become involved also, to step out and try new things.

International students at Columbus are provided with the support they need to succeed.  Because of our small size teachers are able to get to know students on an individual  basis. They learn students interests, learning styles and personalities.  Students will also receive ESL support within the school and each International student will be assigned a mentor student from Columbus to help them learn about the school and meet other students.
