Liturgy:
Weekly Mass is held at each campus of our system according to the following schedule:
St. John the Baptist Primary: Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m.
Our Lady of Peace Intermediate: Thursdays at 8:00 a.m.
Columbus Catholic Middle/High School: Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m.
Twice each year there is an All-System mass for all of our students. This is held at Our Lady of Peace church. There are also times throughout the year that the students in the Our Lady of Peace Intermediate building and those in the Columbus building come together for Mass for Holy Days or as their schedules dictate.
Our students are actively involved in each Mass as servers, readers, and musicians.
Reconciliation:
Students at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate and at Columbus Catholic Middle School and High School participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation with Penance Services held during Advent and Lent. In addition, Reconciliation is offered to our students in the Columbus building every Mass day in the Chaplain’s office.
Sacramental Preparation
Second grade students located in the St. John the Baptist Primary School building receive excellent and extensive preparation for their First Reconciliation and their First Holy Communion during the school year as part of our religion curriculum.
