Advent Reflection – Be Present to What Matters Most – DynamicCatholic.com

Christmas is only 2 days away. Let’s take what we have learned this Advent and live it out: We asked big questions about who we are and why we are here. We explored the best way to live, realizing the importance of our legitimate needs and our deeper desires. We found that becoming the-best-version-of-ourselves is the surest way to happiness, not only for ourselves, but also for the people we love. Finally, this week we explored the best practical tool in becoming the-best-version-of-ourselves: recognizing what matters most and what matters least so that we can say “yes” to the most important things. You know what matters most. Let’s be present to our loved ones. Let’s spend time with Jesus in the classroom of silence. Let’s celebrate Christmas! Focus: Don’t just wrap presents. Be present. Act: Focus on what matters most this Christmas. Pray: Jesus, help me to be present to my loved ones and to you this Christmas.
