At the end of the 2020-21 school year, it became evident that our middle school students would not have enough desperately-needed Chromebooks for the next school year.  Thanks to a family of donors, that need has been met!

Chromebooks are important, as middle school students use them in the classroom as part of a teacher’s lesson plan and for completing homework during study halls. By the end of the last school year, there were four Chromebook carts and students had to check one out if they wanted to use one, which was very inconvenient for students - and for teachers - to keep track of.

That is when three Pomeroy families came together to collectively donate $14,000 to purchase new Chromebooks!  (Note:  the Pomeroys are related to the Edwards family, who is a part of our Columbus family.)

Thanks to their generosity, we now have six Chromebook carts with a total of 116 Chromebooks available for our students. Now, middle school students each have a Chromebook assigned to them, which improves efficiency and accountability.  Please help us to THANK the Pomeroy families for helping our students!
