DEAR CCS ALUMNI:
It is with great excitement that I announce to you a transformative project that will shape the future of Columbus Catholic Schools (CCS) and provide incredible opportunities for our students.
As proud alumni of CCS, you understand the importance of a quality education and the impact it can have on the lives of young individuals. Over the years, CCS has nurtured countless students, instilling in them a strong foundation of faith, knowledge, and character. Today, we have an opportunity to continue this legacy and make a lasting difference for future generations.
I am thrilled to announce the launch of CCS Alumni Fundraising Challenge for the construction of the new CCS Educational and Athletic Center. This ambitious project aims to address the overcrowding issues we have been facing and provide state-of-the-art facilities that will support our academic, athletic, and musical programs for decades to come.
One of the key components of the new facility is the addition of new classrooms. With the growing number of students, it has become imperative to expand our educational spaces to ensure every student receives the attention and resources they need. These new classrooms will create a conducive learning environment, allowing our dedicated teachers to continue delivering a top-notch education.
Furthermore, the new facility will house a world-class athletic facility that will serve as a hub for our sports programs. Equipped with four basketball courts, weight room, fitness center, batting cages, and more, this facility will provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to excel in their respective sports. It will also serve as a gathering place for our community, fostering a sense of camaraderie and school spirit.
We cannot achieve this ambitious goal without the support and generosity of our alumni. I invite you to join us in this endeavor by participating in the Alumni Fundraising Challenge. Each graduating class will have the opportunity to raise funds and earn naming rights on a special plaque in the new facility. Your contributions, no matter the size, will make an impact and help us reach the remaining balance of our $10.5 million project goal.
In addition to the recognition plaque, we will celebrate the alumni achievements with a special event for the top three classes at the new CCS Educational and Athletic Center. This will be an opportunity to express our gratitude and showcase the incredible facilities that your contributions have made possible.
So gather your classmates together and challenge other classes to see who can reach the “Diamond Don” status!

Alumni Fundraising Challenge Levels
- DIAMOND DON LEVEL - Class with the highest donations raised
- PLATINUM LEVEL - $100,000 or more raised
- GOLD LEVEL - $50,000 to $99,999 raised
- SILVER LEVEL - $25,000 to $49,999 raised
- BRONZE LEVEL - $10,000 to $24,999 raised
- NAVY LEVEL - $2,500 to $9,999 raised
