Stepping Up Day

Stepping Up Day gives students the chance to experience what it's like in the grade they’ll be moving into next year. The event usually takes place in February or March.

For 2nd graders at St. John the Baptist Primary School: They spend the day at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate School as third graders.

For 3rd and 4th graders at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate School: They get a sneak peek of their upcoming year by spending the day in the next grade.

For 5th graders at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate School: They visit Columbus Catholic Middle School and experience a day as a sixth grader.

This day helps students become more familiar and comfortable with their new school environment, easing the transition for the upcoming school year.
