Itinerary

Below is the itinerary for the trip.

  • Days 1–2: Flight and Arrival in Rothenburg, Germany
    • Flight from the U.S. to Germany
    • Tour Director–led walking tour of Rothenburg ob der Tauber
  • Day 3: Nuremberg and Munich
    • Guided tour of historic sites in Nuremberg
    • Visit to significant locations from Nazi Germany in Munich
  • Day 4: Munich
    • Guided tour of Munich’s history and culture
    • Visit to Dachau Concentration Camp
    • Traditional dinner at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus
  • Day 5: Neuschwanstein Castle & Oberammergau
    • Guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle
    • Sightseeing stop in the Bavarian town of Oberammergau
  • Day 6: Kraków, Poland
    • Travel to Kraków
    • Guided tour of Kraków’s Old Town
  • Day 7: Auschwitz and Birkenau
    • Full-day excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau, former Nazi concentration and extermination camp
  • Day 8: Jewish Heritage and Faith Sites in Kraków
    • Tour of the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter and Schindler’s Factory (as featured in Schindler’s List)
    • Visit to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy
    • Visit to the Basilica of St. John Paul II
