Individual Counseling
Elementary and middle/high school counselors are available to meet individually with students when a child’s educational success is affected or personal issues arise. Counselors work with students to build social skills, explore emotions, foster empowerment, and develop effective problem-solving strategies.
School counselors assist all children and provide short-term, one-on-one support when appropriate. While ongoing counseling is not provided within the school setting, counselors can help identify when additional support may be needed. In such cases, they act as referral agents, connecting parents with counseling and mental health services available in the community.
