University of Wisconsin Direct Admit Program
Columbus Catholic High School participates in the University of Wisconsin Direct Admit Program, which simplifies the application process for students applying to most UW campuses. This program allows you to apply directly to the University of Wisconsin system without submitting a traditional application. Note: UW Madison, UW Eau Claire, and UW La Crosse are not part of the program.
How it Works
Opt-In (Participating in the Program):
If you choose to opt in, you'll allow our school to share your GPA, transcripts, and other required information with the UW Direct Admit team. Essentially, our school will submit your application on your behalf to all participating UW schools based on your academic record.
After submitting your information, you’ll receive acceptance or denial letters between August and October of your senior year. You will have until May to accept or decline any offers of admission.
Please note: These letters indicate acceptance to the university, but enrollment isn’t automatic. You still need to confirm your enrollment if you choose to attend.
Opt-Out (Not Participating in the Program):
If you decide not to participate, we won’t share your information with the Direct Admit team. In that case, you’ll need to submit a traditional application for any UW schools you’re interested in.
