Summer Programs at Columbus Catholic Schools

Columbus Catholic Schools in Marshfield, Wisconsin offers a variety of academic programs and athletic opportunities for students entering 3Pre through grade 12. Some programs are available only to CCS students, while others are open to students from Marshfield and surrounding communities.

Some programs are available only to Columbus Catholic students, while others are open to students from Marshfield and the surrounding communities.

Official CCS Summer Programs are organized and operated by Columbus Catholic Schools.

Privately Run Programs Hosted at CCS are hosted at our facilities but organized by outside groups.

Summer School (Grades 1-8) [CCS Students Only]

Summer School 2026

Boys and girls entering grades 1–8 (in the 2026–2027 school year)

  • Who: Boys and girls entering grades 1–8 in the 2026–2027 school year. (Must be an enrolled CCS student.)
  • Location: Our Lady of Peace Intermediate School and the Columbus Catholic Fieldhouse
  • Dates: June 8 to July 16, 2026; Mondays—Thursdays
    • Session 1: June 8 to June 25, 2026
    • Session 2: June 29 to July 16, 2026
  • Times: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Cost:

  • $300 per session
  • $500 for both sessions

Fitness Course (Grades 6-12) [Open to All Area Students]

2026 Summer Fitness Course

Students entering grades 6 through 12 (in 2026–2027 school year)

  • Who: Students entering Grades 6–12
  • Where: Columbus Catholic High School
  • Dates: June 1 through July 30, 2026
    Monday through Thursday (the Fitness Course does not meet on Fridays)
  • Times:
    • Session 1: 6:00-7:00 a.m. (boys and girls entering grades 9-12)
    • Session 2: 7:00-8:00 a.m. (boys and girls entering grades 6-8)
    • Session 3: 8:00-9:00 a.m. (boys and girls entering grades 9-12)

Cost:

  • $47 if taking the course for instruction only
  • $68 if taking the course for transcript credit

Please note: Students may attend whichever session works best for their schedule. We ask that you register for one session so we can plan accordingly.

Soccer Camp (Grades 1-6) [Open to All Area Students]

  • Location: Fields behind Columbus Catholic High School
  • Dates: July 27–29 (Monday through Wednesday)
  • Camp Times:
    • Session 1: 9:00 –9:50 a.m. (boys and girls entering grades 4–6)
    • Session 2: 10:10–11:00 a.m. (boys and girls entering grades 1–3)

Cost: $21

Volleyball Queen of the Beach Sand Tournaments (Grades 6-12) [Open to All Area Students]

Girls entering grades 6–12 (in the 2026–2027 school year)

  • Who: Girls entering grades 6–12 (in the 2026–2027 school year)
  • Location: Columbus Catholic High School sand volleyball courts
  • Dates: Thursdays — June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23

Times:

  • High School: 3:30 p.m.
  • Middle School: 6:00 p.m.

Details:

  • Register as an individual
  • Teams are randomly assigned for pool play
  • Tournament divisions created after pool play
  • Prizes awarded, including special prizes for gold division winners
  • Healthy snacks provided
  • Limited to 24 players per age group

Cost:

  • $16 per player (per tournament)
  • $41.50 for all four dates

Volleyball Sand Spikers Camp (Grades 1-9) [Open to All Area Students]

13th Annual Sand Spikers Volleyball Camp

  • Location: Columbus Catholic High School
  • Dates: July 27–29, 2026 (Monday through Wednesday)
  • Session Times:
    • Camp Session 1: 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. (Boys and Girls Grades 1-3)
    • Camp Session 2: 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (Boys and Girls Grades 4-6)
    • Camp Session 3: 12:30 p.m.-2:15 p.m. (Boys and Girls Grades 7-9)

Cost:

  • $37 for one child
  • $67 for two children
  • $93 for three children

Volleyball Varsity Tournament (Grades 9-12 Varsity Players) [Open to All Area Students]

Varsity Volleyball Tournament

Girls Indoor • 6 vs 6

  • Who: Girls varsity volleyball teams
  • Location: Columbus Catholic High School
  • Date: Friday, June 19
  • Time: Doors open at 8:15 a.m.; first game at 9:00 a.m.

Details:

  • 6 vs 6 indoor tournament
  • Limited to 24 teams (register early)
  • Prizes for all teams and awards for champions
  • Concessions available; no outside food or drinks

Cost: $82.50 per team

Looking for summer tutoring support? Several CCS teachers offer privately run tutoring programs:

 

Baseball Camp (grades 5K-9)

  • Who: Boys entering grades 5K-9 (in the 2026-2027 school year)
  • Location: Columbus Catholic High School
  • Dates: June 1–4, 2026 (Monday through Thursday)

Camp Times:

  • Session 1: 8:30–9:45 a.m. (boys entering grades 3–5)
  • Session 2: 10:00–10:45 a.m. (boys entering grades 6-9, emphasis on hitting, pitching, and catching)
  • Session 3: 11:00-11:50 a.m. (boys entering grades 5K-2)

Cost: $60

Times are designed to work with our summer basketball camp schedule.

  • Session 1: 9:00–9:50 a.m. (Grades 7–9)
  • Session 2: 10:00–10:50 a.m. (Grades 1–3)
  • Session 3: 11:00–11:50 a.m. (Grades 4–6)

Cost: $55 per week or $150 for all three weeks

Session times are designed to complement our basketball school schedule. Staff can escort students to basketball school afterward if they are signed up.
